El Presidente has returned! The new list of games leaving the Game Pass library was revealed on Sunday, and included was Tropico 6. I’ve already completed the previous entries, so I quickly jumped on this title as the one I’d do before it left. The problem is I’m fighting time more than usual, because 1) it’s the holidays, and B) I’m having to be at the hospital all the time. And I need to finish all of the missions before the end of December. I managed to knock out the first seven missions, leaving me with nine more. As of the end of this week, I have only about seven days to do this, so I’m gonna be cutting it very close. Doesn’t matter, I really enjoy these games! I had a few issues with some of the missions; namely, the “Better Red Than Dead” mission was almost difficult to the point of being broken, where you’d start hemorrhaging money before you can really establish a good economy. I absolutely turned to a video for that mission, and then the next. But I found I really didn’t like doing that and proceeded to clear the rest sans any kind of guide. Usually, once you get the hang of how the economy works, you’re more or less set to clear any mission with relative ease. From one dictator to another: textiles are key. Electronics, too. Gotta keep with Modern Times! I’m gonna do my best to get this completed before it leaves, but maybe it’ll be the first game I actually have to purchase?
